The space is inside the cylinder but outside the cone is 200π cubic FT or 628.32 cubic FT.

<h3>What is a cone?</h3>

It is defined as the three-dimensional shape in which the base is a circular shape and if we go from circular base to top the diameter of the circle reduces and at the vertex, it becomes almost zero.

We know the volume of the cylinder is given:

\rm V = \pi r^2 h

r = 10/2 = 5 FT

h = 12 FT

\rm V = \pi (5)^2 \times 12

V = 300π cubic FT

Volume of the cone:

\rm v = \dfrac{\pi r^2 h}{3}

\rm v = \dfrac{\pi (5)^2 \times 12}{3}

v = 100π cubic FT

Space is inside the cylinder but outside the cone = 300π - 100π

= 200π cubic FT

= 628.32 cubic FT

Thus, the space is inside the cylinder but outside the cone is 200π cubic FT or 628.32 cubic FT.

Is i have 5 red marbles, 2 green and 3 blue, what is the probability of drawing two blue marbles in a row?
kherson [118]
So the chance of getting 1 blue marble is 30% or 3/10, the chance of getting another in a row is also 3/10 since its asking for both youd do 3/10*3/10 = 9/100

Mrs. Lenz rented a scooter during her beach vacation. The cost of the scooter rental is shown for different periods of time. Wha
iragen [17]

Answer:

The unit rate of $10 per hour.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

x = time

y = amount

(x,y) = (1,10)

See attachment for graph

Required

What does the given point represents

From the attachment, the origin of the graph is:

(x_1,y_1) = (0,0)

and we have the given point to be:

(x_2,y_2) = (1,10)

Calculate the slope (m)

m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}

m = \frac{10-0}{1-0}

m = \frac{10}{1}

m = 10

The slope represents $10/1 hour

Hence:

(x,y) = (1,10) means the unit rate is $10 per hour

Find the inverse g(x)=x/5-6
STALIN [3.7K]
Interpreted: g(x) = \frac{x}{5} - 6
Let y = g(x)
y = \frac{x}{5} - 6
x = \frac{y}{5} - 6 (Interchange the x and y-values)

\frac{y}{5} = x + 6 (Solve for y)
y = 5(x + 6)

\therefore g^{-1}(x) = 5(x + 6)
