Answer:

Step-by-step explenation . First you know that the amount of time she trained for the marathon is 125% of the time she trained last month. We also know that she trained 80 hours last month.  And the question wants us to know how many hours she trained this month.  So we do 100% =x

And 125% = 80 so we cross multiply it becomes 100 X 80 =125x witch eaquals to 8,000 divided by  125 witch is 64. So the final Answer is 64 . IF I AM CORRECT PLEASE MARK BRAINLIEST.

(1) A part to whole ratio compares different parts of the group to each others is true.

(2)  the ratio 3:1 can also be written as 1 to 3 is false.

(3) A part to whole ratio can be written as a fraction, a decimal, and a percent is true.

(4) two term and three term ratios compare quantities measures in different units is false.

(1) A ratio has two parts, a numerator and a denominator.

Example: if we have 2 oranges and 3 apples in a fruit basket.

  • fruits ratio = 2:3
  • total fruits ratio = 5
  • fraction of orange = \frac{2}{5}
  • fraction of apple = \frac{3}{5}

This ratio compares a part of each fruit to the whole

Thus<em>, a part to whole ratio compares different parts of the group to each others is</em> true.

(2) The ratio 3:1 is written as \frac{3}{1} =3.

Thus, <em>the ratio 3:1 can also be written as 1 to 3 is</em> false.

(3) the ratio 2:3, has the following fractions, decimal and percentage with respect to whole ratio;

  • <em>fraction</em> of 2 = \frac{2}{5}, <em>decimal</em> = 0.4, <em>percentage</em> = 40%
  • <em>fraction</em> of 3 = \frac{3}{5}, <em>decimal</em> = 0.6, <em>percentage</em> = 60%

Thus,  <em>a part to whole ratio can be written as a fraction, a decimal, and a percent is</em> true.

(4) the units of the quantities compared have to be the same in order to find their ratios.

Thus, <em>two term and three term ratios compare quantities measures in different units is</em> false.

(3 A sum of money doubles itself in 6 years. In how many years, it becomes 5 times?
elena-s [515]

Answer:

In 24 years.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the sum of money be 100 which amounts to 200 ( doubles itself ) in 6 years time. Interest on 100rs. Is 100. Putting the following in simple interest formula. You get :

100=\dfrac{100\times R\times 6}{100}\\\\R=\dfrac{100}{6}

Now when 100 will become 5 times i.e 500 the interest will be 400rs.

Putting in simple interest formula:

400=\dfrac{\dfrac{100\times 100}{6T}}{100}\\\\T=\dfrac{2400}{100}\\\\=24\ yrs

So, in 24 years, it will become 5 times.
