✿ Why Pluto was removed from the lost of planets ?

-- The international convention of International Union of Astronomers [ IUA ] held on 2006 in Prague of Czech Republic has removed the Pluto from the list of planets and introduced a new term , Dwarf planet for it. A new definition of the planet is also given by the convention. According to it :

  • A planet should have its own round orbit [ elliptical ] around the sun.
  • It's shape must be round.
  • It must have a fixed neighborhood with other planets.

The Pluto fails to fulfill the last statement due to which it is kept in the category of Dwarf planet. Makemake , Haumea Ceres and the latest member of Solar system Eris were also kept under this category.

Cervix

Janine recently had surgery on the neck, or narrow lower portion, of her uterus. Janine's surgery was performed on the cervix.

The cervix is the narrow neck-like passage that forms the lower portion of the uterus in the human female reproductive system. The cervix joins the vagina and uterus and it is mainly made up of fibromuscular tissue. The two major parts of the cervix are ectocervix and endocervix. During menstrual cycle, the cervix opens a bit to allow the passage of menstrual flow. The cervix also dilates largely to allow the passage of baby during childbirth.
