Which of the following statements correctly describes the relation between frequency, wavelength energy and velocity of a wave t

ravelling in a medium?
A. As wavelength decreases, frequency increases, energy increases and the speed remains the same.

B. As wavelength increases, frequency decreases, energy increases, and speed remains the same.

C. As wavelength increases, frequency increases, energy decrease and the speed increases.

The statement that correctly describes the relation in the question is ; ( A ) As wavelength decreases, frequency increases, energy increases and the speed remains the same.

The Frequency of a wave travelling in a medium is directly proportional to the energy produced by the wave and inversely proportional to the wavelength of the wave.

Changes in the wavelength and frequency of a wave has no effect on the wave speed. but has an effect on the energy produced by the wave. therefore the wave speed remains constant regardless of the changes in wavelength and frequency

Hence we can conclude that As wavelength decreases, frequency increases, energy increases and the speed remains the same.

What provides information about the body position with respect to gravity?
patriot [66]

Answer:

Centre of Gravity

The centre of gravity (COG) of the human body is a hypothetical point around which the force of gravity appears to act. It is point at which the combined mass of the body appears to be concentrated[1]. Because it is a hypothetical point, the COG need not lie within the physical bounds of an object or person. One subjective way (there are objective measures) to approximate the COG of an object is to visualise it balancing on one finger.

Centre of Gravity in the Human Body

In the anatomical position, the COG lies approximately anterior to the second sacral vertebra. However, since human beings do not remain fixed in the anatomical position, the precise location of the COG changes constantly with every new position of the body and limbs. The bodily proportions of the individual will also affect the location of the COG.

Small molecules that bind with self-proteins to produce antigenic substances are called ________. reagins antibodies haptens ion
puteri [66]
The answer will be haptens because haptens has the ability of combining to carriers that are large enough to produce antibodies. The large carriers are usually the proteins that binds to it after producing antibodies. The antibodies, ions and reagins does not comply in the question above for antibodies focus more in the immunization. The ions are the electrons that produce positive or negative electric charge and the reagins are the ones responsible in allergic reactions.

Bacteria that use sunlight as an energy source are considered A. photoautotrophs. B. hetertrophs. C. saprobes. D. chemoautotroph
Zepler [3.9K]
The answer is A. i say this because when they use sunlight as energy, cabon dioxide and water are converted into organic material, they are used as cellular functions ( such as biosynthesis and respiration ). An able autotroph is able to make his own food.

What do many scientists believe about the purpose for asteroids.
katovenus [111]

Answer:

Various scientists describe asteroids in different ways:

 • Some scientists consider it to be rocks which orbit around the sun.
 • Other consider it to be small planets.

The majority of the scientists agree that asteroids might have come into existence at the time of solar formation. The parts which broke down during the formation of the solar system resulted in the formation of asteroids.

Scientists believe that asteroids might not have a major function in the universe but studying them would be of great benefit. This is because as they are parts broken from the solar system, exploring them will let us know about some unknown features of the other solar system bodies.
