Tropism is the movement that plants make in response to a stimulus from the outside, hydrotropism and gravitropism work together in the roots adaptation.

What are hydrotropism and gravitropism?

Hydrotropism is the response of the plant to an aquatic stimulus, it is usually reflected in the growth of the roots oriented by the availability of water.

On the other hand, the growth towards the ground of the roots is determined by another tropism: gravitropism, a response to the force of gravity, together with hydrotropism, plants take advantage of water throughout their development and adaptation.

Therefore, we can conclude that depending on the nature of the stimulus, tropisms are classified in different ways, hydrotropism and gravitropism work together in the plant's adaptation.

Describe in general terms the structure of ionic solids such as nacl
allochka39001 [22]
Ionic compounds are chemical compounds in which ions are held together in a lattice structure by ionic bonds. They have a high melting and boiling point, and they have a high hardness and are very brittle. The cations and anions are stuck together in a sense. So in this case, sodium (Na) is attracted to Chlorine (Cl).

Elaborate the reason that the heat of vaporization of water is so much greater than its heat of fusion. A) The potential energy
Olenka [21]
I believe the answer is B. Liquid water is stabilized by strong inter-molecular forces between the molecules. This is why the energy needed to completely separate the molecules converting to gas is much greater than that of converting a solid into liquid. The latent heat of vaporization will have to be higher for the liquid to become a gas.
