Norms are predefined set of unwritten rules which is expected by the society to be conformed to.

Norms are known to influence a group or organisation by encouraging positive behavior and discouraging negative behaviors.

Examples of some norms practised although unwritten and not discssed includes:

  • Showing kindness to the elderly, like opening a door.
  • join a queue,  instead of pushing or cutting corners
