364 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of Triangle = 1/2 × B × H

 • where B is a base and H is height , given in the figure.

=> 1/2 × 20 × 14

=> 140 cm²

Area of Rectangle A = L × B

 • where L is Length and B is base of the rectangle.

=> 12 × 9

=> 108 cm²

Area of Rectangle B = L × B

 • To find the length and breadth we have to subtract ;

=> 12 - 5 = 7 -------- Length

=> 8 - 5 = 3 -------- Breadth

=> 7 × 3

=> 21

Area of Rectangle C - L × B

=> 19 × 5

= 95 cm²

Total area = Area of Triangle + Area of Rectangle A + Area of Rectangle B + Area of Rectangle C

=> ( 140 + 108 + 21 + 95 ) cm²

=> 364 cm²

Answer:

364 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the figure :

 • Area (triangle) + Area (rectangle 1) + Area (rectangle 2) + Area (rectangle 3)
 • 1/2 x 20 x 14 + 12 x 9 + 7 x 3 + 19 x 5
 • 140 + 108 + 21 + 95
 • 248 + 21 + 95
 • 269 + 95
 • 364 cm²

the length of one leg of a right triangle is 6 feet. the length of the hypotenuse is 2 ft longer than the other leg. Find the le
Minchanka [31]

Answer:

The missing leg is 8 feet and the hypotenuse is 10 feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the Pythagorean theorem which is A²+B²=C².

So we know the first side is 6 so plug that into the equation which would now be 6²+B²=C².

Because the hypotenuse is 2 feet longer than the missing leg we can plug in C=B+2 which would now make it 6²+B²=(B+2)².

Now we solve what we have so far which would now make the equation 36+B²=B²+4B+ 4.

Now we can figure out that 4B=32.

Now isolate the variable, B, by divide both side of 4B=32 by 4.

This gives us B=8.

So the other side is 8 feet.

Since we know that the hypotenuse is 2 feet longer than the leg we just add 2 feet to the original 8 feet to find the hypotenuse to be 10 feet.

Write the formula for an exponential function with initial value 300 and decay factor 0.73
postnew [5]

Answer: 300*0.73^x

Step-by-step explanation:

300 is the initial value and every time x goes up by 1, the value get multiplied by 0.73

when x=3

then the value would be 300*0.73*0.73*0.73 or 300*0.73^3

then for x amount of times the equation would be 300*(0.73 x times ) or 300*0.73^x
