Answer:

  3. $3511.31

  4. 24 months (2 years)

  5. about $9,069.57

Step-by-step explanation:

The attachments show the results from use of a time-value-of-money (TVM) app on a calculator with the given car loan values. Similar functions are available using a spreadsheet.

__

<h3>3.</h3>

You want the future value of the loan after 14 monthly payments have been made. The balance is 3,511.31 after 14 months.

__

<h3>4.</h3>

The number of payments required to bring the balance to zero is computed to be about 23.2553. It will take 24 months to pay off the loan. The last loan payment will not be the full amount.

__

<h3>5.</h3>

The total amount paid is approximately the monthly payment multiplied by the required number of payments:

  $390 × 23.2553 ≈ $9,069.57

_____

<em>Additional comment</em>

The actual amount will depend on when in the last month the last payment is made. (Interest is generally charged on a daily basis when the payoff nears.)

The fourth attachment shows the balance after 23 payments is $99.23. The amount of interest charged for a full month on that amount is ...

  $99.23×0.065×(1/12) = $0.54

So, the last payment due could be ...

  $99.23 +0.54 = $99.77

The total of 23 regular payments and a last payment of $99.77 is ...

  23×$390 +99.77 = $9069.77

If you want accuracy to the penny, it is best achieved by creating an amortization schedule, in which interest charges are rounded to the nearest cent each month.

Solve for the values of x and y: <br><br> y = 3x - 5 ........(i) and y = -x + 7 ........(ii)
Paraphin [41]

Answer:

x= 3, y= 4

Step-by-step explanation:

y= 3x -5 -----(i)

y= -x +7 -----(ii)

Substitute (i) into (ii):

3x -5= -x +7

3x +x= 7 +5

4x= 12

x= 12 ÷4 <em>(</em><em>÷</em><em>4</em><em> </em><em>on</em><em> </em><em>both</em><em> </em><em>sides</em><em>)</em>

x= 3

Substitute x= 3 into (ii):

y= -3 +7

y= 4

What is the mean of the dot plot???
vichka [17]

Answer:

19.5 (Rounded: 20)

Step-by-step explanation:

In math, the mean is every number added together, then divided by the amount of numbers. For example, 1,2,5,4,8 would have a median of 4.

<em>(1 + 2 + 4 + 5 + 8 = 20 ÷ 5 = 4)</em>

Your dot plot has 14 total numbers, meaning that you add up all the numbers and divide by 14.

16 + 17 + 17 + 17 + 17 + 19 + 19 + 19 + 19 + 21 + 22 + 22 + 23 + 25 = 273

273 ÷ 14 = 19.5

If you don't need to round, 19.5 is correct. However, if you need to round my best guess is 20. Good luck!

In triangle △ABC, ∠C is a right angle and CD is the altitude to AB. Find the angles in △CBD and △CAD if m∠A = 65°
adell [148]

Simple drawing shows that measure interior angle at B is 25 degrees.

Easily seen from a drawing are that measure of angle CBD is 25 degrees, and measure of angle CAD is 65 degrees (which was already given).

Heres the plot formula!

What is 5÷ =68 this is my homework I need an answer today
Elena-2011 [213]
The answer would be 13.6

You can find out by setting this up as a proportion
\frac{5}{x} = \frac{68}{1}
Now cross multiply 5 x 1 = 5 and now divide 68/5 = 13,6 and we can check this by multiplying 13.6 x 5 = 68 so we know our 13.6 is correct
