Based on the subtraction property of equality: C. Correct. Jen could have also subtracted 100 from both sides and then divide both sides by -1/2.

<h3>What is the Subtraction Property of Equality?</h3>

In order to balance both sides of an equation, we can subtract same value from both sides by subtracting a value from both sides based on the subtraction property of equality. Same applies to other operations.

To balance both sides of the equation, 100 needs to be subtracted from the equation given. This means Jen was correct.

If she also divide both sides by -1/2, she would get same result as when she multiplies both sides by -2.

The correct description of the accuracy of her work is: C. Correct. Jen could have also subtracted 100 from both sides and then divide both sides by -1/2.

Solve similar triangles (basic)
fiasKO [112]

Answer:

<em>T </em><em>=</em><em> </em><em>1</em><em>6</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

As triangles are similar

AB/DE = BC/EF = AC/DF

13.5/18 = 6/4 = 12/T

3/4 = 3/4 = 12/T

3/4 = 12/T

T = 12×4/3

T = 16

I’m struggling with this question need some help
Sonbull [250]
Since the volume of a rectangular prism is V=lwh, we can isolate for h to obtain that h=V/(lw).

So, for the first prism, the height is 117/(4*6.5) = 4.5

Similarly, for the second prism, the height is 175.5/(6.5 * 4) = 6.75

So, the difference in heights is 6.75-4.5=2.25 = 2 1/4 inches

Which are true of the function f(x) = 49(1/7)^x Check all that apply.
Karolina [17]

The given function is : y= f(x) =49 [\frac{1}{7}]^x

The statements which are true regarding this function is

1. As you can observe that y is defined for all values of x , so Domain is set of all values that x can take which is set of all real numbers.

2. Also, x =\frac {\log[\frac{y}{49}]}{-\log7}, so x is defined for all values of y. Range is all values that y can take which is also set of all real numbers greater than zero, i.e y>0.

As ,x =0 then y= 49 and x_{1} =1 then y_{1}  = 7,

so ,y_{1} = \frac{y}{7}.

So, Option (1),(4) and (5) are correct.
