What characteristics of southeast adia geography make construction of railroads a challenge

Geography

Reika [66]2 years ago

Most of South-East Asia consists of island countries, where most of the population resides in specific islands, and the rest of their territories are of very low density of population. Constructing railroads requires rather high density, since demand is what drives the need and usage of it. Railroad construction in SEA may also only be utilized for some of the more wealthy of the countries, such which sadly means that the majority will not be targets for railroad constructions.

Why doesn’t the wall of china protect the entire country?
DENIUS [597]

The main reason for the wall's construction had always been defense. Since China's first dynasty, the empire faced a near-constant threat of attack from the nomadic tribes to the north. This included those famed Mongols as well as lesser-known groups like the Xiongnu and the Göktürks.
