The reason for the buses to be plunged into rivers is due to the bad condition of roads.

What do you mean by plunging?

Plunging is the word denoting diving or jumping with energy. When the swimmers dive into the pool for swimming, then that activity can be called plunging into the pool.

When the buses are traveling on the roads which are having cracks or ice patches or slipperiness then there are many chances that the buses might face a serious accident. The accidents can lead to the destruction of many lives who are traveling in the bus and also those people who are walking on the roads.
