The straw is placed diagonally in the rectangular prism, therefore, the length of the straw is √109 inches

<h3>How to find the diagonal of a rectangular prism?</h3>

Diagonal of a rectangular prism = √(l² + w² + h²)

Where,

  • l = length
  • w = width
  • h = height

Therefore,

l = 6 inches

w = 3 inches

h = 8 inches

diagonal = √(6² + 3² + 8²)

diagonal = √36 + 9 + 64

diagonal = √109 inches

Select all of the angles that are congruent to &lt;5 plzzz helppp
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

Options A, D and F

Step-by-step explanation:

From the picture attached,

lines 'l' ad 'm' are the parallel lines and line 't' is a transversal intersecting each line at two different points.

From the angles formed at the points of intersection,

∠5 ≅ ∠8 [Vertical angles]

∠5 ≅ ∠4 [Alternate interior angles]

∠5 ≅ ∠1 [Corresponding angles]

Therefore, Options A, D and F will be the correct options.

Varies directly means
if y varies directly as x that means
y=kx where k is a constant

so
y=kx
y=2 and 2/3 when y=1/4 then find k
convert 2 and 2/3 to imporoper fraction for ease
2 and 2/3=6/3+2/3=8/3

8/3=k(1/4)
multiply both sides by 4/1 to clear fraction
32/3=k

so now we have
y=(32/3)x

when x=1 and 1/8
find y
convert 1 and 1/8 to imporopor=9/8

y=(32/3)(9/8)
y=(288)/(24)
y=12

Find a polynomial function of degree 3 with -2, 3, 5 as zeros
Lorico [155]
So theyre trying to scare you in this question by giving you the zeros to an already existing function. Basically if x = 1, than the reverse function of this is (x-1)
using that, we can say that the zero or "root" "-2" is equal to (x+2)same with 3, we can say (x-3)= x = 3 and with five, (x-5)= x = 5
so, we have those functions, we can multiply them to eachother to work backwards.(x+2)(x-3)(x-5) =(x^2-x-9)(x-5) =x^3 - 6x^2 - 4x + 45
