Threshold response curve is a point at which a biologic response occurs, so this implies that there is a "safe" amount of dose to be delivered. It starts at a point greater than "0" on the graph.

Non-threshold response curve is described as any radiation exposure can be harmful and cause a response in the body. It implies that there is no safe level of exposure. It starts at "0" on the graph.

The metacarpals articulate with the
velikii [3]

Answer:

b. Phalanges

Explanation:

The metacarpals are the five bones that form and support the hand and articulate distally with the proximal phalanges, the bones that form the fingers, and proximally with the distal carpals. The carpus is composed of eight bones that connect the hand with the forearm, those bones are divided into distal and proximal, distal means far from the midline and proximal means near to it. Therefore, the distal part of the carpus is the one that articulates with the metacarpals.

The ulna and the radius are the bones that form the forearm and articulate with the proximal carpals.

Pacemaker cells in the heart possess intrinsic rhythm.
a. True
b. False
Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

Pacemaker cells, unlike other neurons in the body, can depolarized themselves (and therefore can fire action potentials) without the need of an external innervation of the autonomic nervous system.

Each class of pacemaker cells has its own intrinsic rate.

For example, sinoatrial node rate is 60-100 bpm (the normal heart frequency).

The atrioventricular node is also part of the electrical conduction system of the heart. When the sinoatrial node fails, atrioventricular node takes the lead (40-60 bpm).

Patient-reported outcomes in ZUMA-7, a phase 3 study of axicabtagene ciloleucel in second-line large B-cell lymphoma
EleoNora [17]

The first comparison of PROs with axi-cel, an autologous anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy, to SOC as second-line treatment (Tx) in relapsed/refractory (R/R) LBCL in the pivotal Phase 3 ZUMA-7 project.

According to ZUMA-7, the first randomized, international, multicenter Phase 3 study comparing axi-cel to SOC in second-line R/R LBCL, axi-cel treatment results in a clinically significant improvement in QoL at D100 when compared to SOC as determined by many recognized PRO tools. In the SOC arm, in particular, score comparisons at later timepoints call for cautious interpretation because attrition brought on by EFS events may have selected participants with the greatest results. The statistics also point to a quicker return to pretreatment quality of life with axi-cel than with SOC. Treatment options for second-line R/R LBCL should be influenced by axi-better cel's clinical results and patient experience compared to SOC.
