Answer and Explanation:

6.2125 g of Na₂SO₄ is needed to prepare 350 mL of a solution.

You have to know that molarity is a measure of the concentration of a solute that is defined as the number of moles of solute that are dissolved in a certain volume.

number of moles of solute= 0.125 M×0.350 L=0.04375

142 g/mole is the molar mass of Na₂SO that's the mass of one mole of the compound and the amount of mass that contains 0.04375 moles. Mass= 0.04375 moles× 142 g/mole therefor mass= 6.2125 g.

So, 6.2125 g of Na₂SO₄ is needed to prepare 350 mL of a solution having a sodium ion of  0.125 M

Please let me know if I did anything wrong. I'm pretty sure I'm right but I cant always be sure.

netineya [11]

Considering this question, the website visited is Walmart. Walmart's corporate mission is “<u>to save people money so they can live better.</u>"

Walmart's mission relates to the type of products the company sells because they offer plentiful commodities at everyday low prices to customers.

The mission statement does not surprise me about the company because it matches its operation as they claimed.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that a mission statement is a great way to understand a company better.

Which is the correct order of the geologic time scale from oldest to recent
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

A 0.1 kg block of brass is cooled until it releases 56.4 J of heat. If the temperature of the block was 5 K initially, what is i
Zolol [24]

Answer:

3.5 K

Explanation:

When a sample of a substance releases heat energy, its temperature decreases according to the equation:

Q=mC(T_f-T_i)

where

Q is the heat energy released

m is the mass of the substance

C is the specific heat capacity

T_i is the initial temperature

T_f is the final temperature

For the block of brass in this problem, we have:

m = 0.1 kg is the mass

Q = -56.4 J is the heat energy released (negative since it is released)

C = 380 J/kg K is the specific heat capacity of brass

T_i=5 K is the initial temperature

Solving for T_f, we find the final temperature:

T_f=T_i + \frac{Q}{mC}=5+\frac{-56.4}{(0.1)(380)}=3.5 K
