The correct answers are A. A magazine article exaggerating the public’s extreme reaction to a celebrity, B. A funny political cartoon exposing the flaws in a new government policy, and D. An ironic short story that draws attention to how unmotivated people can be

Explanation:

The purpose of satire is to criticize negative aspects of individuals, society or government, for this, satire does not use literal language but relies on irony, humor or exaggeration that show indirectly the absurdity of some behaviors and actions. This also implies texts that use literal language and do not focus on criticizing society are not satirical.

According to this, from the options provided the texts that are example of satire are "A magazine article exaggerating the public’s extreme reaction to a celebrity" because this uses exaggeration to show a negative aspect of people and create a critique; "A funny political cartoon exposing the flaws in a new government policy" because this exposes the flaws of government through humor; and "An ironic short story that draws attention to how unmotivated people can be" because as other examples this focuses on showing flaws or vices by using humor.

N spanish, when you use a negative word after a verb, you need to add ____ before the verb.
telo118 [61]

Your questions is not so clear, but I will try to answer it as I understand it.

I am a native Spanish speaker so you can trust my answer, if there is a problem with it, it is due the missing information in the question, but I think we can work it out for the best.

In Spanish when you want to make any negative setence in any tense we do not use an auxliliary verb as you do in English, we simply add the word:

No before the verb, for example in:

Yo no quería bailar en la fiesta. (I didn´t want to dance at the party)

Mi hermana no piensa antes de hablar. (My sister doesn't think before talking)

No me hables, no quiero nada. (Don't talk to me, I want nothing)

In Spanish we Simply use the Negative Adverb:

No

Write an argumentative essay for or against using public money to maintain national landmarks, such as the gateway Arch in St. L
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

A conclusion that is in favour:

"Using public money to maintain national landmarks is a good policy in the sense that a national landmark is a public good: no one can be excluded from enjoying the view of a national landmark like the Arch in St. Louis for example.

Because they are public goods, national landmarks are not likely to be profitable or provided by the private sector in a free market, and for this reason, government intervention in the form of public money becomes necessary".

How do you know a story is a folktale
aleksandrvk [35]
A folktale is a type of traditional story that tries to explain something, or which is meant to help people behave well in the world. Such stories usually are fiction-based with magical or supernatural elements, and they often are woven around talking animals, royalty, peasants or mythical creatures. Initially passed down through oral tradition, they were a major means of educating and entertaining prior to the development of printed materials and modern technologies, and they remain instrumental in preserving aspects of the culture in which they develop.

Manufacturing equipment is related to products as road is related to accident transportation cars Construction traffic signs
Maru [420]
The question above is an excellent example of a word analogy. A word analogy is usually used to indicate the comparison of elements containing similarities in their definition. For the case above, it establishes the industry to its product thus the answer would be the third choice "cars."
