Sensation and perception are the parts of the visual system that aids in seeing the images. The sensation is given as the input, and the perception is the interpretation of the input by the brain.

<h3>What are sensation and perception?</h3>

The sensation is the receiving of the stimulus through the sensory receptors and the nervous system of the body. It includes the physical stimuli from the surroundings in the state of light that passes to the brain for perception.

Perception is the organization and interpretation of the input stimuli. The nerve cells and the receptors of the brain recognize these stimuli and process them for visualization and perception.

Therefore, sensation and perception work together to form and see images.
