Dengue is a viral infection caused by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The mosquito infects the human by transmitting the infected blood through bites.

<h3>What is Dengue?</h3>

Dengue virus gets transmitted from the infected bite of the mosquito, Aedes aegypti. The mosquito transmits the blood from an infected person to a normal person by the bite.

Two activities like the use of insecticides and proper sanitization can be done by the community so that the vector of the disease, the mosquito is controlled and prevented from spreading the disease.

Other than these two, at home mothers can use the mosquito preventing nets so that person can be prevented from getting mosquito bites and thus prevent infection.
