Mathematics

After zero, but before one. This is because it is not a whole number.

It would be after 0 and before 1

when you put it on a number line that is in increments of 1 then you would barely move it over from the 0. but if it has smaller increments the you would be able to graph it more accurate

Hope this helps

remember if you ever need anything and you dont want to waste points you can just post it on my pfp or message me the question

How can you use mental math to determine if a ratio is simplified?
attashe74 [19]
This is a very simple question; don't be intimidated. Just see if you can divide both sides of the ratio by the same number and still result in a whole number on both sides. If not, then the ratio is already simplified. It is easy to figure this out by seeing if one or more of the numbers are prime numbers.
Example: 5:10 can be simplified further because both numbers are divisible by 5. 5/5 and 10/5 result in 1 and 2. Therefore, 5:10 can be simplified to be 1:2. However, a number like 9/11 cannot be simplified further, because 11 is a prime number.
Hope this helped you!

Could someone help i’ll mark brainliest! please explain too
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

C. 8

Step-by-step explanation:

I almost thought this was going to be Pythagorean Theorem, but no.

Use Cosine Law:

cos θ =  \frac{10^2 + 21^2 - 17^2}{2(10)(21)}

θ = cos−1(0.6)

θ = 53.130...

Now use the SOHCAHTOA ratio for sine (\frac{opposite}{hypotenuse}) to find x now that you have one angle:

sin θ = \frac{x}{10}

x = 10sinθ (θ isn't needed to be written out as it is shown in the equation above)

x = 8

9. Find P(rolling 1 or 5) with one number cube.
marta [7]

Answer:

1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 6 possible outcomes when rolling 1 die

1,2,3,4,5,6

P ( 1 or 5) = number of times 1 or 5 happens / total outcomes

               = 2/ 6

               = 1/3

What is the answer a or b to this question
galina1969 [7]
The answer would be A.

Explanation:

If they enter with one car, that’s a price of $3 for the car alone. Because there’s also a fee for each person who enters, and there is a family of 5 who enters, x is representative of the cost for each person who enters. Therefore, there would be 5 x’s and one 3 that when solved would add up to the total of $45 they spent. That would mean A is correct because the equation would be x + x + x + x + x + 3 = 45.
