How do you find the frequency in statistics?

Mathematics

Answer:

Count the tally marks to determine the frequency of each class. The relative frequency of a data class is the percentage of data elements in that class. The relative frequency can be calculated using the formula fi=fn f i = f n , where f is the absolute frequency and n is the sum of all frequencies

Express each fraction as a percent. Round your answer to the nearest whole number.
GREYUIT [131]

Answer:

60.8% which rounds to 61%

42.61% which rounds to 43%

29.14% which rounds to 29%

Step-by-step explanation:

So, there are two ways to do this, either perform the division as you see it, or make it so it is some number over 100 instead of what it is.

For the first one if you just do the division, either with long division or with a calculator you get exactly .608. The other two are not as nice, jsut a warning. From here you multiply it by 100 to get the percent. For instance with .5 (which is half) the corresponding percent is 50%, which is after you multiply .5 by 100). if you need help with the division let me know and I can work you through one.

if we go with the second way we would want to make 125 into 100. To do this we need to multiply it by something to get to 100. Or in other words, 125x=100. This winds up being .8, or 8/10 You could also see it as dividing 125 by 1.25 or 5/4, if you need help with this (or any part in particular really) let me know.

Anyway, since one part of the fraction is being multiplied or divided, the other part does too, so you would take 76 and do the same. Whichever number you use you get 60.8. You don't have to multiply this by 100 since it is already part of a fraction over 100.

Again, let me know if you need more help, I will leave the other two to you unless you need the help.

Answer:

Present age

Son: 15

Father: 45

Step-by-step explanation:

Remark

Thank you for the translation. Without it, the problem would be impossible -- at least for me.

Givens

Let the present age of the father = x

Let the present age of the son = y

Solution

x + y = 60

How many years will pass? You could say it's z.

x + z = y                          When z years pass, the son will be his father's present age.

x + z + y + z = 120          when z is added to both their current ages, the result is 120                   Collect like terms

x + y + 2z = 120

x + y         = 60              Subtract The very first equation

2z = 60                          Divide by 2

z = 60/2                         30 years have passed.

z = 30

x + z = y

x + 30 = y                       Substitute x + 30 for the present y value (the father).

x + x + 30 = 60

2x = 30

x = 15

x + y = 60

15 + y = 60

y = 60 - 15

y = 45

So the son's age right now is 15

The father's age right now is 45
