Archeologists, Historians, and Geographers.
<em>Archaeologists</em><em> wash, sort, catalog, and store recovered artifacts after bringing them back from the field. They analyze individual artifacts, but also may sort them into groups to see patterns. For example, they might weigh all the oyster shells together or count all the nails and consider them as one unit.</em>

<em>Historians</em><em> research, analyze, interpret, and write about the past by studying historical documents and sources.</em>

<em>Geographers </em><em>study the Earth and the distribution of its land, features, and inhabitants. They also examine political or cultural structures and study the physical and human geographic characteristics of regions ranging in scale from local to global.</em>
