Answer:

This campaign used articles, photographs, posters, radio, and newspapers to stress the patriotic need for women to enter the workforce and change public opinion about women’s work. Rosie, a relatable role model, advocated for women to apply for industrial jobs and in turn, made the public more accepting of women taking on industrial jobs. Rosie is pictured as an attractive and feminine looking female, but by flexing her muscles and giving a stern look, she shows that women are capable of taking on masculine jobs just like men. This iconic persona challenged the traditional role of women pre-World War II and marked the emergence of a new and more complex woman. The symbolic “We Can Do It” poster of this era, featuring Rosie the Riveter, is a prime example of how poster advertisements were used to instill confidence in women entering the workforce and encourage them to step outside their traditional roles.

arsen [322]

The central irony of the story is the fact that humans have been destroyed rather than saved by their own technology

Describe the scene in which the rabid dog stalks down the street. How might the rabid dog be interpreted as a symbol of the evil
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

This Question talks about the book titled To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee published in 1960.

In chapter ten of the book, Jem and Scout went exploring with their air-rifles to see if they could find a rabbit or a squirrel. They noticed a dog showing that something is not right. Then reported to Calpernia who feared the dog is suffering the dog from rabies.

The dog represents the "madness", and Atticus will do anything to protect his family.

Atticus kills the mad dog with a shot between the eyes.

It fits with the symbolic nature of the incident by showing that some actions are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
