Daniel is a piano instructor who gives lessons on weekends. The cost of one lesson is $30. Daniel is offering a 5-lesson package

with a 25% discount off the total price.
How much would a student save by buying a multi-pack compared to 5 separate lessons?

Why would Daniel offer a discount when he knows he could earn more money selling the lessons separately?

Answer:

150 is if you buy them separately but 150-25%=112 so 150-112=38 so students would save $38

Step-by-step explanation:

he made that package so that more people would go to his lessons know that there was a discount going on and more people would choose his lessons over people who don't have discounts.

a pyramid has a regular hexagonal base with side length of 4 and a slant height of 6. what is the total area of the pyramid
Stels [109]
So hmm notice the picture below

the pyramid itself, is really, just one regular hexagon, at the bottom
and 6 triangles, stacked up at each other at the edges

now, if you just get the area of the regular hexagon, and the 6 triangles, add them up, that'd be the total surface area of the pyramid then
\bf \textit{area of a regular polygon}\\\\
A=\cfrac{1}{4}\cdot n\cdot s^2\cdot cot\left( \frac{180}{n} \right)\qquad
\begin{cases}
n=\textit{number of sides}\\
s=\textit{length of a side}\\
\frac{180}{n}=\textit{angle in degrees}\\
----------\\
n=6\\
s=4
\end{cases}\\\\\\ A=\cfrac{1}{4}\cdot 6\cdot 4^2\cdot cot\left( \frac{180}{6} \right)

now, for the triangles, well, area of a triangle is 1/2 bh, as you'd know, and you have both

What is 2,001÷83 pls help i need to check my answer
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

24.11

Step-by-step explanation:

2001 ÷ 83

83×2= 166

200-166=34 bring down the 1

341 ÷ 83

83×4= 332

341-332=9 add a decimal and bring down a 0

90÷83

90-83=7 bring down another 0

70÷83=0 brind down another 0 since 70 cannot be divided by 83 and have a whole number

700÷83

83×8=664

700-664=36

right now you have 24.108

round to the nearest tenth

24.11
