The area of the parallelogram of height 9 in and base 13 in will be 117in².

What is the area of a parallelogram?

The area of a parallelogram is the product of the base and the height of the figure.

The area of a parallelogram = Base x Height

WE have given a parallelogram of height 9 in and base 13 in.

So,

The area of a parallelogram = Base x Height

A = Base x Height

A = 13 × 9

A = 117in²

Hence, the area of the parallelogram will be 117in².

2) 13 years back my mother age was thrice my age and 2 years back she was twice my age then find a) The present age of my mother
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

age of the Father is 46 and age of the son is 24

Step-by-step explanation:

13 years ago x was thrice y's age, or

(x - 13) = 3(y - 13); or

x - 3y = -26

2 years ago, x was twice y's age, or

(x - 2) = 2 (y - 2); or

x - 2y = -2

Subtracting equation 1 from 2:

x - 2y - (x - 3y) = -2 - (-26)

or y = 24

Need help can you please explain how I do this.
Musya8 [376]
The formula for the area of a trapezoid is .5*h(b1+b2)
H is the height so 13 cm
B1 is one of the bases so I'll say 9
B2 is the other base so 4.4
So you so .5*13(9+4.4)
I'm happy to expand if you need it. The answer is 87.1
