The subject would be the who or what so for example in your first problem it would be mom. the predicate is what that who or what is doing. so in problem one it would be that she likes to put cherries on her cereal. ( circle mom, underline likes to put cherries on her cereal.)

In the context of the text, how do we define the roles of men and women? What characteristics does Mrs. Baroda associate with be
gladu [14]

From the context of the text (a respectable woman), the role of men is to protect their families from people they are not sure about and to pay attention to what happens in the home.

What characteristics does Mrs. Baroda associate with being a woman?

Mrs. Broda from the first paragraph is associated with homeliness and hospitality. This is seen in the first paragraph where a mention is made about how she is unhappy that there were to entertain another visitor.

This obviously was going to be more work for her given that they had entertained a great deal during the winter period.

Should we be standing every time the national anthem is played or pledge of allegiance is recited explain your thoughts
Ivenika [448]

It all depends on one's confidence and way of expressing themselves. Personally, I would say no. After everything that's been going on in this horrid year of 2020, the BLM movement has reasons. Since society today still has to fight for black lives (as well as others that aren't cis, straight, white men), the Pledge of Allegince speaks lies. Many people may pledge "justice for all," but our actions speak different from our words. If you are safe and have the confidence to rebel for what is just, do not stand, as one with heart shall not stand for injustice.

Hope this helps!

I absolutely love writing stuff like this, and it feels good.
