Explanation: (1) Melting ice can add more water to the ocean, which in turn sea levels rise due to this affecting coastal communities. (2) sea ice such as snow caps reflect 50 percent of solar radiation, (thick sea ice covered with snow reflects even more radiation, about 90 percent) this reflecting keeps global temperatures in check. (3) native arctic wildlife, such as porpoises, fish, avians, and land-mammals are affected as their homes are shrinking, leading to less food and areas that they are adapted too.
