Answer:

c

Explanation:

water boils at 100 degrees Celcius and freezes at zero degrees Celcius. if you want to keep water in a liquid phase, the temperature has to be between 0 and 100 therefore earth is the only planet that is able to keep water in a liquid phase as it is not too hot nor too cold

What is the structure of mitochondrion, cell wall, cell membrane, and the nucleus
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Answer:

The mitochondria are called the powerhouses of the cell, where ATP is produced. It is composed of an inner membrane called cristae, and an outer membrane that covers the organelle.

The cell wall is a rigid structure made from(in the case of plant cells rather than bacteria or fungi) cellulose and other rigid fibers.

The cell membrane is a fluid, thinner structure made up of a double layer of phospholipids which are comprised of the hydrophilic heads facing outwards and hydrophobic tails facing toward each other in the layer.

The nucleus  has protons, and neutrons that are contained within it, and electrons around it.

Non-protein coding DNA in eukaryotes contains repetitive elements that include (select all that apply): Group of answer choices
Olegator [25]

Answer:

interspersed, transposon-derived repeats, simple sequence repeats.

Explanation:

In the human genome, not only the protein coding genes are present, in fact these genes make up just a very little portion of the human genome about 1.5-2% of the entire human genome. Repeats make up about 48% of the human genome which is the largest and the rest include, conserved non coding sequences (43.5%), heterochromatin regions etc.

Some of the repetitive elements includes LINEs, SINEs, DNA fossils tranposoon, Retrovirus like elements. all these are transposable elements which are  mobile DNA sequences that can migrate to different  regions/areas of the genome.

Microsatellites (simple sequence repeats) are tracts of repetitive DNA in which certain DNA motifs are repeated normally 5-50 times.
