Exponential equation

Exponential equations have a rate of change and a exponent with respect to the rate of change

The general form is

  • y=ab^x

where c is any real no .

Quadratic equation

  • The exponential equations which have degree as 2 are called quadratic equations

The general form is

  • y=Ax²+Bx+C

Linear equation

The equation whose graph is a straight line is called linear equation

The general form is

  • y=mx+b

Linear Equation: y = mx + b

They tend to have same common differences. They increase linearly. They always have a straight line while making a graph. For every x-value there is only one y-value.

Quadratic Equation: y = ax² + bx + c

They have constant second differences. For every y value there are two x values. They always make a smile [ ∪ ] when the coefficient of x² is positive and sad [ ∩ ] curve on the graph when coefficient of x² is negative.

Exponential Equation: y = a(b)ˣ

Here the values of y changes more rapidly than the value of x. The values shifts too quickly in a exponential graph. For every y value there is only one x value. Has constant ratio.

(a+b)^2=a^2+2\cdot ab+b^2\\\\293=a^2+2\cdot 14+b^2\\\\293=a^2+28+b^2\\\\a^2+b^2=293-28\\\\\boxed{a^2+b^2=265}

Sketch the region enclosed by the given curves. Decide whether to integrate with respect to x or y. Draw a typical approximating
MakcuM [25]

Answer:

A=8.4063u^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Be the functions:

y=\frac{3}{x};y=\frac{3}{x^{2}}:x=7

according the graph:

\int\limits^1_7 {\frac{3}{x} } \, dx -\int\limits^1_7 {\frac{3}{x^{2} } } \, dx =3\int\limits^1_7 {\frac{1}{x} } \, dx -3\int\limits^1_7 {\frac{1}{x^{2} } } \, dx=3(\int\limits^1_7 {\frac{1}{x} } \, dx -\int\limits^1_7 {\frac{1}{x^{2} } } \, dx)=3[lnx-\frac{1}{x}](1-7)=3[(ln7-ln1)-(\frac{1}{7}-1)]=3[(1.945-0)-(0.1428-1)]=3*(1.945+0.8571)=3*2.8021=8.4063u^{2}

The graph below shows the distance, y, that a car traveled in x hours:
Vika [28.1K]
This is a linear relationship as the rate of change is constant, ie constant velocity.  And the slope represents the velocity, and slope is:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(50-25)/(2-1)=25/1

m=25

So the rate of change is 25 mph
