The area of the triangle will be equal to 45750 square centimeters.

<h3>What is an area?</h3>

The space occupied by any two-dimensional figure in a plane is called the area. The space occupied by the triangle in a two-dimensional plane is called the area of the triangle.

Given that:-

A triangle has a base length of 3ac² and a height of 5 centimeters more than the base length. Find the area of the triangle if a = 4 and c=5

Here the base will be calculated as:-

B = 3ac² = 3 x (4) x (5²) = 300

H = 3ac² + 5 = 300  + 5 = 305

The area will be calculated by the formula:-

A = \dfrac{1}{2} x B x H

A =  \dfrac{1}{2} x 300 x 305

A = 45750 square centimeter.

Therefore the area of the triangle will be equal to 45750 square centimeters.

Which of the following statements are true about the given rational equation? check all of the boxes that apply. 4 x 6 1 x2 = x
Agata [3.3K]

We can actually see that the statements that are true are:

A. x = 1 is a solution.

C. x = –1 is a solution.

<h3>What is rational equation?</h3>

Rational equation is actually known as an equation that contains at least one fraction. The denominator and numerator are known to be polynomials.

We can see then that:

\frac{4}{x + 6}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  =  \frac{x + 10}{ {x}^{3} + 6 {x}^{2}  }

It's clear that: x ≠ 0 and x ≠ -6.

Looking for the LCM of the left hand side, we will have:

\frac{4}{x + 6}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  =  \frac{4 {x}^{2 }  + (x + 6)}{(x + 6) {x}^{2} }

So, we will see that left hand side and right hand side are equal.

4 {x}^{2}  + x + 6 = x + 10

4 {x}^{2}  = 10 - 6

4 {x}^{2}  = 4

{x}^{2}  = 1

x = 1

or

x =  - 1

So, we can see that options A and C are correct.
