The cylinder the company should use is container A.

Which container should be used?
The total cost of the cylinders = cost per cubic each x volume of the cylinder

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

Or base area x height

Where:

  • r = radius = diameter / 2
  • h = height

Cost of container A = $0.03 x (3.14 x 7 x (5/2)²) = $4.12

Cost of container B = $0.03 x 10 x 12.57 = $3.77

Cost of container C = = $0.03 x (3.14 x 5.5  x 4²) = 8.29

Cost of container D = $0.03 x (3.14 x 6  x 3²) = $5.09

Here is the complete information about the rest of the containers:

Which container should the company use? Use 3.14 for Pi. Container A Container B A cylinder with height 7 inches and diameter 5 inches. A cylinder with height 10 inches and B = 12.57 inches squared. Container C Container D A cylinder with height 5.5 inches and radius 4 inches. A cylinder with height 6 inches and radius 3 inches. container A container B container C container D

A cylinder has a volume of 200 cm³. If the height of the cylinder is 10 cm, what is the radius of the cylinder
AlekseyPX

Answer:

2.5

Step-by-step explanation:

The radius of a cylinder formula is

  • R = √(V / π × h)

Plug in

  • R = √(200 / 3.14 × 10)

So . .

  • R = √(6.4)

R = 2.5

( I rounded to the tenth decimal place so you know!)
