Zeus is the Greek God of lightning and was the leader of the Greek Gods. According to many books, Zeus is always described as powerful and strong. He is also almost always described as having a beard, and is very muscular.

Communication was very important because back than they didn't have phones and T.V.s so they had to let people know of the danger soon
The South relied heavily on steamboats for transportation of supplies and troops. They absolutely needed the Mississippi River to be effective in anyway during the war. The North also used it for transporting, but they had railroads. They were mostly concerned with keeping the South from using it.
