Answer:

Her parents wanted to protest against segregation laws.

Explanation:

Lorraine Hansberry was an African-American writer. The story from her play A Raisin in the Sun overlaps with her real-life in several elements. So we can learn a lot about her views of the world from it. Starting from one element that doesn`t enlace - family from the story was poor and Lorraine`s family was relatively wealthy. But what was mutual is striving for equal rights. Both families decided to move to all-white neighborhood which cause wrath of the people living there (South side of Chicago) - so racial violence from neighbors. There are African elements - Beneatha`s boyfriend symbolizes Lorraine`s uncle who was a professor of African history and influenced her to take a closer look at her roots. Lorraine was an acknowledged writer - Beneatha wanted to become a doctor (feminist moment). Lorraine`s family didn`t want to just give up and be oppressed, so one of the steps they took was to send her to a largely all-white public school.

Which statement best describes the lesson we can learn from Lupe's experience?
mezya [45]

The answer is: c. It’s important to keep accurate records.

In cases when the people from authority need to conduct an audit to our financial information, they will crosschecks the accounting records that we have with the actual proof of the transaction (slips, bank statement, cheques, etc). If, there are some inaccuracies in the records, they could use it as a proof to indict us for financial frauds even if it's a honest mistake on our part.

Why was the campaign in 1828 considered dirty
goldenfox [79]
The campaign was marked by large amounts of nasty "mudslinging." Jackson's marriage, for example, came in for vicious attack. When Jackson married his wifeRachel in 1791, the couple believed that she was divorced, however the divorce was not yet finalized, so he had to remarry her once the legal papers were complete. In the Adams campaign's hands, this became a scandal. Charles Hammond, in his Cincinnati Gazette, asked: "Ought a convicted adulteress and her paramour husband be placed in the highest offices of this free and Christian land?" Jackson also came under heavy attack as a slave trader who bought and sold slaves and moved them about in defiance of modern standards of morality (he was not attacked for merely owning slaves used in plantation work). TheCoffin Handbills attacked Jackson for his courts-martial, execution of deserters and massacres of Indian villages, and also his habit of dueling!!!

Hope this helped!!
