The stage and its elements must be organized according to the objectives of the play and the effect that you want to give to the spectators.

How can a director do this?

 • Determining the objects used in the scenario.
 • Determining the colors used in the scenery and costumes.
 • Determining the kind of feeling you want the audience to feel.
 • Determining the light intensity in the scene.

To determine these elements, the director must know the story, script, and characters well, as well as the themes, tone, and mood of the play, and adapt this to his goals as a director.

You didn't show the play this question refers to but I hope this information can help you.

In what way is the character of sir Garwin different from other epic euro such as beowulf
Evgen [1.6K]
For starters, Sir Gawain is not as noble as Beowulf. While Beowulf is presented as a great and noble warrior, we see Gawain as a bit of a proud hasty warrior that feels superior to anyone, seen in Arthur's hall when he just wants to fight without even thinking about it, and we can also see that he's very human considering how he made the mistake in Green king's court when he lied about the kiss and was scared. Beowulf on the other hand is an idealized warrior whose only mistake is in the end when his Hubris gets the best of him. The hubris wasn't a problem in his youth because his body and skill could follow his endeavors.
