What is your view of prison? Whats is its purpose?<br> Atleast a paragraph need asap
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

Prison can come in handy in times but most people who are in there are being imprisoned for not a good or valid reason. In cases of being handy the prison allows people to follow a diiferent path and rethink their decisons. There wont be that much chaos with prison because people who are going against law are locked up for some time. However , prison can be not helpful to society because it can damge many people's health mentally , socially or even physically. Or some might be locked up for not even doing anything bad but the police said that they did because of prejudice.

Why did Southerners argue states' rights were violated by abolition of slavery?
Zina [86]

Hello!

The correct answer is C) "Abolition violated states' rights to choose what their laws should be."

In the U.S., there are federal laws (that affect all states) and state laws that are implemented by the state and only affect that particular state. When Abolition was passed, the states argued that it restricted their freedom to create laws. Southern states supported slavery, and they felt that abolition (federal law) violated the states' rights to implement their own laws.

I hope this helps you! Have a lovely day!
