The blending of traditional African belief with Islam and Christianity gave the rise to the political empires and encouraged the trade & wealth as well.

What was the impact of the blended traditional African belief over the African societies?

Islam promoted the trade between the west Africa and the Mediterranean. It facilitated the rise in trade and wealth and also increased the traffic in slavery.

Christianity led to the end of the African customs and it also undercut the leadership of the women.
