Excerpt from The Ultimate Fighting Championship Mary O'Dell 1 American interest in mixed martial arts is growing. Both male and
jeka57 [31]

B) It is unnecessary to oversee the athletes involved in mixed martial arts.

The viewpoint made in section one is that "State athletic commissions should strictly monitor and regulate the UFC." A rebuttal statement is one that goes against the viewpoint, so it needs to say something about how the UFC should not be monitored or regulated. Option A agrees with the viewpoint by saying overseeing athletes is necessary. Option B states the opposite by saying it is unnecessary to oversee athletes. Therefore, this is the correct answer. Option C says that athletes must self-regulate. While this puts the responsibility of regulating on the athletes, it does not take it away from the commissions. There is nothing here to suggest that the commissions would not regulate just because the athletes are. Option D has nothing to do with monitoring or regulating so it is a poor choice.

How does Hamlet’s conclusion on the question of “To be or not to be” develop the reader’s understanding of his character
maria [59]
In Hamlet's soliloquy he discusses death, it's pros and cons, and consequences in depth. His conclusion, that the dreams death may bring are too frightening to face, characterizes him as a coward as well as an intellectual. He is obviously very intelligent, having gone to college, and proves his intelligence by creating a master plan to avenge his father and taking painfully long to make any decision. Yet, he is still cowardly because he cannot muster the courage to kill himself even though he obviously doesn't want to live any longer. Another instance that he comes across as cowardly is when he won't kill Claudius while he is praying because he's afraid he will send him to heaven.
