Franklin Roosevelt:

(1882 - 1945) Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the United States, and the only president to serve more than two terms; from 1933 to 1945.   Obtaining support for the UN's creation and convincing the Soviet Union to support Japan in the fight against Germany were among Roosevelt's objectives.

Winston Churchill:

Churchill was the prime minister of the UK through world war 2 and for a year afterwards until he was replaced by Clement Atlee. At the conference, Churchill pushed for democratic governments and open elections in Eastern and Central Europe (specifically Poland).

Joseph Stalin:

Joseph Stalin (1878-1953) was the dictator of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) from 1929 to 1953. The key goals for Stalin were American and British acceptance of a Soviet zone of influence in eastern Europe as well as postwar economic support for Russia. At the Yalta Conference, Joseph Stalin's principal objective was to prevent the expansion of communism into the areas under Soviet occupation.
