Explain the changes that happen in the body before and after exercise

Biology
1 answer:
atroni [7]2 years ago

Answer:

While exercising, the muscles need additional energy as the breathing rate and volume of each breath increase to bring more oxygen into the body and remove the carbon dioxide produced. If insufficient oxygen is available to the muscles, for instance, the exercise is vigorous and/or prolonged, the heart and lungs are unable to supply sufficient oxygen. Muscles begin to respire anaerobically. Lactic acid is produced from glucose, instead of carbon dioxide and water. Muscles continue to contract, but less efficiently. When a period of exercise is over, lactic acid must be removed, because the body's tolerance to lactic acid is limited. These processes require oxygen. This is why, when the period of activity is over, a person’s breathing rate and heart rate do not return to normal straight away.

Question 14
timurjin [86]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Supersatured solutions can be created by heating the liquid to it's boling temperature. When the solvent gets hot, the molecules have more space to move around, and there is more space for solute molecules between them. You can keep stirring in any solute, and it will continue to dissolve, even though the saturation point has been reached.

The suncoast tree of northwest Africa is known for 2 traits that are said to show simple dominance. The 2 traits are height and
ivann1987 [24]

The genotypes would be bbTT X BbTt

Assuming that bark color is represented by B (b) allele and height is represented by T (t) allele.

Since the traits show simple dominance: blue (B) of dominant over purple (b) and tall (T) is dominant over short (t)

  • The genotype of a tree that is purebred purple (bb) and tall (TT) would be bbTT
  • The genotype of a tree that is heterozygous for both trait would be BbTt
  • Thus, the cross would be bbTT x BbTt

Korvikt [17]

Answer:

The ability of species of living beings to overproduce offspring

Explanation:

Darwin proposed that species have the ability to produce offspring at a rate that could cause a geometric increase in the population size. This is called biotic potential. The overproduction of offspring causes intraspecific competition for the limited available resources. Darwin reasoned that the overproduction of progeny leads to a struggle for existence between the individuals of a population. He observed that the struggle for existence does not allow the population size of species to grow geometrically.

The following statements refer to a comparison of reproduction in ferns vs. flowering plants. Indicate whether each statement is
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

Both ferns and flowering plants produce spores at some point in their life cycles. True

Only ferns have a gametophyte as part of their life cycle. False.

Only flowering plants produce pollen grains. true

Both a tree and a large fern plant are diploid sporophytes. True

Explanation:

Yes, both ferns and flowering plants produce spores in their life cycles. In fern plant, it produce spores on the underside of the leaves whereas in flowering plant, there are two types of spores such as microspores and megaspores. Both ferns and flowering plants have gametophyte as part of their life cycle. Flowering plants produce pollen grains whereas non-flowering plants produce spores to continue their generation. Both tree and large fern plants having diploid sporophytes which is a necessary part of their life cycle.
