It is the oldest ruling dynasty in China from 1600 to 1046 BC. As a highlight, it was during the dynasty that the Bronze Age occurred in China, in addition to having developed knowledge in technology, arts and mathematics for example.

Therefore, the downfall of the Shang Dynasty occurred through the weakening of the government due to issues considered immoral, leading to conquerors to overthrow the dynasty.
