9. Is she the star attraction of the show?

 20. Was the hall in good condition?

How to transform the sentences

The following steps will help you transform affirmative sentences into questions or negatives:

 • Negative: Find the auxiliary or add one, if necessary, as well as the word "not". For example, if the sentence is in the simple past, use the auxiliary "did" and "not" to make it negative.
 • Questions: To make a yes/no question, all we need to to is place the auxiliary verb before the subject. To make an informative question, we must also add a question word at the beginning, such as "what" or "why".

Punctuation can be used as a style device to create all of the following except
Nitella [24]

Answer:

Verb agreement.

Explanation:

Punctuation marks are used for the following: to create pauses, flow, or rhythm within a sentence or a text. The way to do this is to use commas or periods to create pauses, commas or conjunctions to create flow, commas or colons to create rhythm, etc. However, one thing that punctuation cannot do is affect verb agreement. Verb agreement means that the subject and the predicate (verb) are in the same number: if the subject is singular, the verb will also be singular; if the subject is plural, so is the verb. This depends on the subject, not on punctuation.

Explain how beginning the story with the dialogue between Rainsford and Whitney contributes to both the author’s characterizatio
juin [17]

The conversation between Rainsford and Whitney contributed to the characterization of Rainford by showing how at the beginning he sees himself as a superior being towards animals and he doesn't give any importance to the pain or fear they might feel, an example of this is the phrase “The world is made up of two classes — the hunters and the huntees. Luckily you and I are the hunters.”On the other hand, Whitney believes the opposite we can see through the story how Rainford changes his mind when he sees himself on the side and we can infer that when at the end he talks about how different does it feel to be the huntee.

These sentences are also examples of the gothic and suspenseful mood of the story showing us the complexity of the human psyche
