Based on the transformations that occurred, the preimage is most likely the topmost right image.

Where is the preimage?

The transformations list shows that the first transformation was the reflection across the horizontal line drawn.

When a reflection is done, the shape looks like the inverse of itself. The only shape that looks like an inverse and is therefore a reflection is the bottom right shape which means the preimage must be the top right image.

Remaining part of question:

Which is the preimage?

Of the 16,071 degrees in mathematics given by U.S colleges and universities in the most recent year, 73% were bachelor's degrees
Alenkasestr [34]

Answer:

The correct answer is 0.4559.

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of degrees in mathematics given by U.S colleges and universities in the most recent year = 16,071

73% were bachelor's degrees= 73% of 16071 = 11731

Women who earned the bachelor's degree = 48% of 11731 = 5630

21% were master's degrees= 21% of 16071 = 3374

Women who earned the masters's degree = 42% of 3374 = 1417

The rest degree were doctorates= 16071 - 11731 - 3374 = 966.

Women who earned the doctorates degree = 29% of 966 = 280

Total number of women who got mathematics degree = 280 + 1417 + 5630 = 7327.

We need to choose a mathematics degree at random and find the probability that it was awarded to a woman

Probability = \frac{7327}{16071} = 0.4559

2)
The bases of prisms are the triangles. The lateral area of the prism is 695 meters squared. The area of a triangle is base times height divided by 2. The surface area of the prism is 727 meters squared.
3)
The area of a circle is pir^2. The surface area of the cylinder is 1,230 inches cubed.
