Explain how militarism contributed to the beginning of world war 1
vlabodo [156]

Hey Rich!

The Britain felt that they were superior to all other countries. France wanted what the British had and Germany wanted what the French had. This provoked fierce competition and each country worked to build up the strongest military. This led to an arms race between these three powers. Both Germany's and France's armies doubled in size between 1870 and 1914. The increase of military and naval rivalry led to the belief that a war was coming. Germany felt that through war, they could become a world power. As a result of the arms race, European powers were fully prepared for war when 1814 arrived.

Hope this helped!

Do you believe that most Americans would be willing
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

Yes, most definitely. Food is a necessity for everyone, not just Americans, and most if not all people would conserve it if the circumstance needed them to. And energy? For us being Americans, we feel as though we need energy, it fuels every aspect of our everyday lives in a way, so yes. I sure would make sacrifices for both.

One of South Africa's most murky unresolved problems is of land reform.  A latest government survey revealed that 70 percent of the land is held by white farmers. Resentment over that basic inequity is the reason that led to land confrontations such as the recent takeover of Stefan Smit's Stellenbosch farm. Black South Africans were desperately want to build some wealth for them.
