After months of singing "itsy bitsy spider" with her mother, baby Nicole is beginning to do some of the song's actions by herself. This is an example of <span>scaffolding.
Scaffolding refers to a learning process that is tailored to stronger understanding and independence. When Nicole is sang to, she is able to get a great understanding of how to do it on her own and then eventually started to do all of that on her own. By learning this way, baby Nicole is getting a stronger understanding of how to develop further learning on her own.

It reflects the idea that while Europeans were in some sense superior to their colonial people, they also needed to 'help' them, by improving their lives (that is, westernizing their lives).<span />

Any word ending with the suffix -cide means to kill or death. Suicide specifically means to kill oneself. This is usually done because they believe their life has gotten to the point where there are no better alternatives and death is the only way to release some sort of pain or bad situation."

Democratic Republicans wanted to protect the rights of the working class. Federalists saw industry and manufacturing as the best means of economic self sufficiency. During the War of 1812, the Federalists didn’t agree with the war because it would damage their trade with European countries. Most Americans saw the War of 1812 as a victory over Britain so by 1816 the Federalist party died out.
