Answer:

John is not Gabriel’s biological son.

Explanation:

James Baldwin's short story "The Rockpile" tells the story of a family who had been living in poverty. The main plot of the story revolves around a father's biased treatment of his children with that of his wife's son from another man.

John was the eldest of his siblings, "<em>an alterable testimony to his mother's days in sin</em>". The rest of the children were the legitimate off-springs of Gabriel and his wife while only John had been born from another man. S, when he saw that Roy had been hurt badly, he began to get angry at his wife's son. He had always treated his own bloodline differently to John, who, to him was a result of some sin. Thus, he treats him differently as he wasn't his biological son.

deff fn [24]
For Penelope in The Odyssey, she has been depicted as an "ideal woman". She is <span>a wife, a mother, a heroine, and a queen and possesses willpower, resourceful, loyal and has pride for her home and family. Like any other woman today, she has been through struggles too but it never broke her down. The character of Penelope is no different from the ideal woman today. For Odysseus, he is also like Penelope. He is cunning and quick thinking. All throughout his journey, he remained faithful to his wife despite all the struggles and temptations he went through no matter how look it took. This is still the ideal man of today. </span>

which most likely explains why the main character of grendel get stuck in a tree and is attacked by a bull
Ivan
I think Grendel get stuck in a tree because of his careless curiosity of the world above him, that of the humans. He know nothing about that world because he was used to his own world in the underground however he still get tempted to explore. He was also attacked by a bull there because he looks different from the rest of the creatures above.

Ravi’s childhood can best be described as — a. rebellious and irresponsible c. free and adventurous b. joyless and grim d. shelt
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

In Games at Twilight Ravi’s childhood can best be described as free and adventurous

The personality traits of Ravi are as the ones any other kid who loves playing games and likes to show his bravery in the dark scary garage, he often gets lost in daydreaming and he can also be a little too emotional.

The other options are not correct because they don't match with the definition we can see of his character.
