The causes of world war 2 were the Treaty of Versailles, the rise of economic depression after world war 1, failure of the nations league, which all contributed to and give rise to the second world war.

After this war, the United States and the Soviet Union emerged as superpowers in the world as all powers got shifted due to huge destruction in world war 2.
