when you get this kind of exercise, you just need to check which equations resemble the graph

A. y= 6-4x

y= -4x+6

B. y= -4x+8-2

y= -4x+6

C. y= -4x-8-1

y= -4x-9

D. y= -4x+6

-> A, B and D are the same equations

-> the easiest way to find which graph is correct (A/B/D OR C), is to create the graph yourself using the drawn graph:

y= ax+b

a= negative (the line goes down)

to find the a you go 1 step to the left and look which point of the graph has the same x. in this exercise it's when y=4

a=-4

b= the y-coordinate of the point where the graph cuts the y-axis.

b=6

-> graph shown in picture is y= -4x+b

-> graph A/B/D is correct

-> C is does not represent this line

The roots of $3x^2 - 4x + 15 = 0$ are the same as the roots of $x^2 + bx + c = 0,$ for some constants $b$ and $c.$ Find the orde
Akimi4 [234]

we are given

quadratic equation as

3x^2-4x+15=0

now, we can find b and c from

x^2+bx+c=0

we can see that coefficient of x^2 is 1

so, we will have to make coefficient x^2 as 1

so, we divide both sides by 3

3x^2-4x+15=0

\frac{3x^2-4x+15}{3}= \frac{0}{3}

\frac{3x^2}{3}-\frac{4x}{3}+\frac{15}{3}= \frac{0}{3}

now, we can simplify it

x^2-\frac{4}{3}x+5= 0

now, we can compare it with

x^2+bx+c=0

we get

b=-\frac{4}{3}

c=5

so, we get order pair as

(b,c)=(-\frac{4}{3} , 5)..............Answer

Math question Informatin in dot plots
kozerog [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Range =  difference between the highest and the lowest

Mode = Data that occurs the most time

Median = Arrange  the data in ascending order. The middle data is the median. If number of data is even, median is the average of the two middle  terms.

1) Range = 28 -21 = 7

Mode = 25

Number of data (Count the total dots) = 14

Median = average of  7th and 8th term

Median = (25+25)/2 = 50/2 = 25

2) Range = 0.18 - 0.11 = 0.07

Mode = 0.15 and 0.16

Number of data = 23

Median =12th term = 0.15

Jason ran 325 meters farther than Kim ran Kim ran 4.2 km how many meters did Jason run estimate to check your answer
exis [7]
Jason = J, Kim = K

K+325m = J
K = 4.2 km
convert km to m by multiplying by 1000
4.2km * 1000 = 4200m = K
so just plug in your values to get your answer : Jason ran 4525 meters
4200m + 325 = 4525m
