This isn't a great story, to be quite honest. The story focuses less on the ways man used to start fires and more on the ways that nature started fires independently of humans.

That being said, it would seem as though the author is trying to express the fragility of fire early on, and it does seem as though he/she is saying that early on, humans just found a small amount of fire from a really dangerous origin to use as a kindling.

For sure, your answer should come from the second paragraph, which is the paragraph describing early kindling methods.

The text is an excerpt from President Harry Truman's "Truman Doctrine" address before a joint session of Congress in 1947.
Trava [24]

This statement illustrates the Domino Theory because it implies that if Greece were to fall under the control of the communist armed minority then this will affect other nations surrounding it like Turkey.

The Domino theory states that if a non-communist state falls under the control of a communist nation, then the nations surrounding it will follow suit in a domino effect.

This was what President Truman was saying when he expressed his fear that if Greece falls under the control of a surrounding communist nation, then countries surrounding it will aslso be affected.
