Fitzgerald and Hemingway appear to be different, but actually have significant similarities. The basic difference in their writing styles is that, Fitzgerald used the descriptive language whereas Hemingway was known for the simple and short way of writing.

In the terms of subject, Hemingway wrote about the earthy material. His writing was often related to the emotionally while on the other hand Fitzgerald's writing was about social hierarchy, he wrote more about actions.
