The ratio of the height of shape A to the height of shape C is \frac{3}{10}

<h3>Calculations and Parameters:</h3><h3>First step:</h3>

Recall that similar figures have the same scale factor squared due to the ratio of its surface area.

Hence,

We would make:

  • z-----> the scale factor
  • x----> surface area shape A
  • y----> surface area shape B

z^2 = x/y\\z= 2/5

Therefore, the ratio of the height of shape A to the height of shape B is = \frac{hA}{hB} = \frac{2}{5}

<h3>Next step:</h3>

To find the ratio of the height of shape B to the height of shape C, we would perform a similar operation which is:

z^3 = 27/64\\z= 3/4

The ratio is:

\frac{hB}{hC}  = \frac{3}{4}

<h3>Final step:</h3>

To find the ratio of the height of shape A to the height of shape C would be:

(\frac{hA}{hB}) (\frac{hB}{hC} )= \frac{hA}{hC}

= 6/20

= 3/10

So, first you would need to multiply 6 by $35.50, then take that number and add it to the $420 to get $633.00. Then you need to multiply $310.75 by 4. After take that $1243.00 and subtract $633.00 from it to get $610.00. So, the answer is: Broderick would need to add at least $610 to his account to cover his checks.

I like the 'question mark' at the end:

26 letters (English), 10 digits (0,1,...9)

26*26*10*10*10 = 676000

Now, this was for LLDDD (Letter Letter Digit Digit Digit)

It seems this is the order they want. Other wise, one should multiply by all the combinations in the order: LDLDD, DLLDD, etc ... (10 combinations), but again it seems they want this LLDDD

So 676000

Standard form of a line passing through points (1, 3) and (-2, 5)
____ [38]

Answer:

<h2>2x + 3y = 33 </h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

As we move from (-2, 5) to (1, 3), x increases by 3 and y decreases by 2.

Hence, the slope of this line is m = rise / run = -2/3.

Start with the slope-intercept form y = mx + b.

Substitute 3 for y and 1 for x and -2/3 for m:

3 = (-2/3)(1) + b.

Remove fractions by mult. all three terms by 3:

9 = -2 + b, so b = 11, and y = (-2/3)x + 11

Again, mult. all three terms by 3:

3y = -2x + 33, or, in standard form,

<h2>2x + 3y = 33 </h2>
