Answer:

The Taft–Hartley Act prohibited jurisdictional strikes, wildcat strikes, solidarity or political strikes, secondary boycotts, secondary and mass picketing, closed shops, and monetary donations by unions to federal political campaigns. It also required union officers to sign non-communist affidavits with the government.

Explanation:

The Taft-Hartley Act reserved the rights of labor unions to organize and bargain collectively, but also outlawed closed shops, giving workers the right to decline to join a union. It permitted union shops only if a majority of employees voted for it.Jun 25, 2019

Question 15 of 20 :
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

D. Preaching in German and translating the Bible so people could read

Explanation:

Martin Luther tought that it individual faith was very important, and that people should seek a persona connection with God, instead of relying on the preachings of the local priest.

The problem was that very few German people could read at the time, let alone read Latin, the language in which the Bible was written.

This is why Luther completed the Task of translating the Bible to German, so that more people could read the Bible by themselves, and develop their individual faith.
