A formal tone would take place in the first box (top left) and the bottom box. An informal tone for example, would be in the top right box. You can find out how to analyze these by reading them aloud. Do they sound formal as if you’re in a meeting with a business? Or do they sound like you’re just sitting in your home and talking normally?

Why is Creon the antagonist in the play Antigone?

Please help!!!!
jolli1 [7]

Creon is the antagonists because he cares for nothing except the law and power. He also forces Antigone to go through so much suffering and in the end many good people die including his son. He could have prevented this but didn’t and is left all alone in the end.
